It was a perfect day, sunny, warm, not too warm. The fairways of the Amelia Island Ritz Carlton Golf Course a plush green soft carpet. Lots of people, lots of cars, all shiny and polished.
My favorite, a sleek, black E-Type Convertible Jaguar. It was a 1957 model, 61 years in the making, and had 34,000 miles. It was in pristine condition.

The ride up to Amelia is mostly along the coast, you pass Little and Big Talbot Islands, they are beautiful, small rolling dunes, meeting the wonderful majestic Altantic Ocean. Ah the coast !
