Start with a head of romaine
Trim and cut in half - right down the middle
Paint with delicious olive oil, a tiny bit of garlic powder and pepper to taste - let sit for 5 minutes
Make sure the grill is hot
Grill face down for 2 or 3 minutes max then turn over and grill back side
Dress with fresh Parmesan cheese and
your favorite toppings, ENJOY !
This is a very easy recipe. I hear cabbage on the grill is also very tasty. I had the Grilled Romaine in Florida a few weeks ago and decided to try at home. The flavor of the grilled lettuce is almost mysterious !
