Coal Sculpture

Everyday Ceci stacks a fresh batch of charcoal or coal in the coal pot she uses to cook the rice for the school lunches.

The coal pots as they are called a square and probably 18 or 24 inches tall. All of the MOM's in the compound use them. The ladies who have the food to go stand at the front of the school, have a coal pot that is hooked up to a gas line. I will see if I can take a photo when they are out cooking.

Everyday the stack of coal is a new sculpture. I look forward to seeing the new shape and personality of the stack.

Ceci knows how to balance the charcoal pieces and sizes just right to get the proper amount of fire under the very large pan she uses to cook rice for 65+ meals.
