Today one of the compound MOM's, Cecilia, mom to Vivian, Reginald and Nicholas offered me some fresh made polo. I am not sure how the word is spelled, but the sound is POLO.
The taste is like homemade pie crust with sugar and coconut. I had 2 pieces that had just been freshly made this morning, they were still warm. I dipped them in my black coffee and there were wonderful.
She sells them at the school where her children attend. They cost 10 cents each.
Now I have something else to look forward to on the next visit.
Thanks Cecilia - she is the lady that calls me her senior sister.
