Dudamel and Orange Jello

Some days don't make sense, some days just happen.

Today I am doing the dreaded cleanse preparation for an 8am colonoscopy tomorrow morning at Northside Hospital.  If you've had this experience you know it is not fun, the magic drink tastes yukky and you simply have to manage the day as best as possible.

I have to say the orange Jello taste pretty good. I can't remember the last time I had jello, I was not a jello fan when I was a kid.  I don't remember my MOM making jello too many times.

Complementing the day, I just finished getting tickets for a May performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Ca.  I am going to see Gustavo Dudamel (from Venezuela) and pianist Lang Lang (from China) and I am so so so excited.

I've heard many many times how awesome this venue is, one of the top three concert halls in the world. Gustavo Dudamel is the conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, he has been on my LIFE list of performers or artists to see and today I was able to get tickets via the Phil website.  I paid regular price, no ticket broker or ticket service fees and/or surcharges and the seats are next to each other.

The concert hall was funded by a gift from Lilian Disney, wife of Walt Disney, the building was designed by Frank Gehry from Toronto and it opened in Los Angeles on October 24th, 2003.

I will be sure to provide a complete update and details on the concert experience when I visit California in May.
