When we got on the troto today and were leaving the Kissemah area, I was sitting next to Joshua Futri and I am not making this up, the boy stood up from his seat, he was looking ahead out the front window, he was clapping his hands and I saw stars in his eyes. He was so excited he was going on an excursion.
It was a tiny moment that makes the entire visit to Ghana worthwhile. The joy these children feel and express is something I have not experienced before.
We had gospel songs all the way to the airport, Kwame and Teacher Lawrenda leading the songs. We need to find a seasoned choir type person to lead the children, they are all great singers.
