This was taken on Lady Bird Lake too while I was paddleboarding. We get so focused on our day-to-day lives we totally miss out on what is going on above us. We look down when we walk, drive, interact, etc.On this day, I decided to LOOK UP. I saw this flock of Cormorants, roosting in the Pecan trees bordering the river. These birds are used by Chinese fisherman to catch fish. They put a ring around the bird's neck so it can't swallow the fish. When the bird catches the fish the fisherman pulls it out of the bird's mouth. Don't believe me? Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCZC76QPH3o&feature=related
